Andreas Boquist

Co-Founder, Partner

Prior to co-founding Ansvar Capital, Mr. Boquist worked as an Advisor with Custos Fiduciary Services. Prior to Custos, Mr. Boquist was a Vice President at R3 Capital Partners in New York, an investment firm focused on private investments that was spun out of Lehman Brothers’ Global Principal Strategies Group. While at R3 Capital, Mr. Boquist was responsible for the firm’s private equity and special situations investments. Mr. Boquist also worked as an Associate at General Atlantic Partners, a $17 billion private equity fund, where he helped build the firm’s London office. Prior to this he was an Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s mergers & acquisitions department in New York.

Mr. Boquist earned his BA in Economics from Kalamazoo College. He also earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kevin Hanson

Co-Founder, Managing Partner

Before co-founding Ansvar Capital, Mr. Hanson was a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Franklin Hill Capital a lower middle market private equity fund. Before entering private equity, Mr. Hanson was a Director at Business Transition Advisors (BTA). Prior to BTA, Mr. Hanson was the Founder of Ashton Group, a financial consulting firm to family- and privately-owned companies. Mr. Hanson historical positions were as Principal at Marshall & Stevens, Inc, a President at Marshall & Stevens Capital, and a Vice President at Valuation Research Corporation. Mr. Hanson’s career in finance began as a Research Associate at Baird.

Mr. Hanson received a BBA in Finance from Carroll University.

Alberto Tarajano
Co-Founder, Partner

Prior to co-founding Ansvar Capital, Mr. Tarajano founded Custos Fiduciary Services. Custos Fiduciary Services operates as a Trustee to numerous lower and middle companies via an employee stock ownership plan. Before Custos, Mr. Tarajano co-founded a fin-tech startup specializing in employee financial wellness. Mr. Tarajano currently serves as a board member and was a vice-president at the Pala Group, an industrial construction and refinery services firm where he held executive roles as a financial officer, operations, corporate and business development. While at Pala, Mr. Tarajano oversaw mergers and acquisitions, facilitated the transition to an employee-owned enterprise and founded its Texas operations. Mr. Tarajano also served as an Analyst and Associate at BiscyaneAmericas Advisors, a boutique financial advisory firm focused on public and private Latin American business.

Mr. Tarajano received his BBA in Finance from the University of Miami (FL) and his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
